Shipping

All orders under $100 that do not contain processed brass will be charged a shipping fee. “Economy shipping” is the most cost-effective shipping method as determined by Blue Ridge Brass to fulfill your order.  

Orders that qualify for “Free economy shipping” will be sent in the same manner as economy shipping.

This may include USPS Ground Advantage 1-5 day, USPS Priority Mail 1-3 day, UPS ground advantage (surepost), UPS ground or Fedex ground. We do not offer next day, 2 day or overnight shipping options. We do NOT ship internationally due to reloading components being export restricted items. There are not currently plans to obtain export licensing for our business.

Please allow 3-5 business days from the date of your purchase to pack and ship your order. This does NOT include weekends or holidays. We are primarily a husband and wife team. Some orders we can crank out very quickly, but we do also have a family! Your patience, business, and understanding are greatly appreciated!

Shipping Upgrades:

UPS ground– additional charge for us to ship your order via UPS. UPS ground delivery times are not guaranteed. WE CANNOT SHIP UPS GROUND TO ALASKA OR HAWAII. If you live in either of those states, we will always need to ship your order via USPS priority mail. We will contact you to ensure your address is USPS eligible before shipping your order. 

USPS Priority Mail– In most cases, orders will be shipped by the most economical method possible for us. This typically results in orders shipping by USPS ground advantage. If you would like to upgrade your service to priority mail, this upgrade can be selected at checkout for an additional cost. 

 

Damage and claims

We have all experienced the misfortune of USPS damaging, losing or destroying our mail and parcels at some point. Their reputation and disregard for consumer’s packages is a well-known and unfortunate reality. If your package is delivered damaged, goes missing or is incorrectly delivered, please contact us so we can assist you. In many cases we can coordinate better with USPS for these errors because we are the shipper. We will be the ones that need to file the claim in the case of loss or damage. Please know that if USPS damages your package and contents are missing we will need pictures and a count of exactly what product remains.

In the instance of an incorrect delivery caused by an incorrectly entered shipping address, Blue Ridge Brass is not responsible if the package cannot be recovered by USPS or UPS. We ship to the address you provide us at checkout unless you contact us before your order is completed to change the address. We assume you know your address and know where you want your product sent. 

Shipping is one of the largest expenses of our business. We may be able to ship your order quickly and use timely shipping methods, but we are not amazon and cannot negotiate rates like they do. Shipping, even at the most economical rates, is astronomically high these days due to increased fuel and wage costs. These are costs that will be passed to the consumers. If you’re located within or close to Virginia and think the shipping being charged is too high, please contact us and we can get a real time quote for you!
