📦 Blue Ridge Brass Shipping

All orders under $125 will be charged a shipping fee.
“Economy shipping” is the most cost-effective method as determined by Blue Ridge Brass to fulfill your order.

Orders $125 or more will ship free (excludes clothing & mugs).

  • This free economy shipping will be sent by the same methods as economy shipping.

  • Possible carriers/methods include USPS Ground Advantage (1–5 days), USPS Priority Mail (1–3 days), UPS Ground Advantage (SurePost), UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground.

  • We do not offer next-day, 2-day, or overnight shipping.

  • We do not ship internationally due to reloading components being export-restricted items. There are no plans to obtain export licensing for our business.

⚠️ Clothing, Hats, and Mugs (Merchandise)

  • “Brass Life” merchandise such as mugs, hats, and shirts are print-on-demand items that ship from a separate facility.

  • We do not stock or ship these items from our warehouse.

  • Because of this, a shipping fee applies to each merch item regardless of order total. This is a fee charged by the printer, not by us.


📋 Order Processing Time

  • Please allow 3–5 business days from the date of purchase for packing and shipping (excludes weekends and holidays).

  • We’re primarily a husband-and-wife team — while many orders go out quickly, some take longer. Your patience, business, and understanding mean the world to us!


🔒 Primed Brass Shipping

  • All primed brass must ship UPS Ground.

  • Cannot be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states or to a PO Box — a physical street address is required.


🚚 Shipping Upgrades

  • UPS Ground: Additional charge. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

    • ⚠️ Cannot ship UPS Ground to Alaska or Hawaii. In those states, we will ship USPS Priority Mail instead and confirm address eligibility.

  • USPS Priority Mail: By default, most orders ship via the most economical method (usually USPS Ground Advantage). If you prefer USPS Priority Mail, you may select this upgrade at checkout for an additional cost.


📦 Damage & Claims

  • If your package arrives damaged, goes missing, or is misdelivered, contact us so we can assist.

  • As the shipper, we are responsible for filing claims with USPS or UPS.

  • For USPS damage claims, photos and a count of remaining items are required.

  • If the issue is due to an incorrectly entered shipping address at checkout, Blue Ridge Brass is not responsible if the package cannot be recovered.


💲 Shipping Costs

  • Shipping is one of the largest expenses of our business.

  • We are not Amazon and cannot negotiate their bulk shipping rates.

  • Even economy rates are rising due to fuel and labor costs, and these must be passed along.

  • If you are local to Virginia and believe your shipping cost is too high, contact us for a real-time quote.

  • Free shipping does not apply to:

    • Brass processing services

    • Custom orders

    • Merchandise (shirts, hats, mugs)
