We do ask our customers to leave us reviews on how we did, and they frequently do! We take a lot of pride in our work and want to provide you with products that would please even a reloading enthusiast like us. But we are also human, we’ve made mistakes, and when we do we want to treat you the way I want to be treated when I purchase from a company! Our products may cost more than others, but service and quality are what we want to provide, when I shop it’s important to me.
I have been handloading for half a century lol I still clean and size etc my brass but when I am in a hurry or need different brass or just brass I tend to ‘leave lay’ like 9mm say? I get a bag of nice shiny brass here that has all the not fun work already done. I have told 3 friends about it and we are all very happy with value.
Well I’m a believer. I haven’t been out to scrounge up brass since I started using Blue ridge. I use both the nickel and regular brass and it’s always sparkling clean and polished. Sized perfect and they usually give me just a few spares.
As long as they have brass they have a customer. 😁
Let me break this down.. I pulled 50 random cases and set right to reloading.
Clean, polish and trim – 5
Resize -4 ; I understand differences in gauges, I use a hornady and some cases were a little tight. Probably a difference in gauges used and probably fine, but I know cartridges that pass my gauge will cycle in my firearm.
Chamfer – 4 ; I had some rough edges and skinned a couple of bullets
Overall brass quality – 5
Crimp removal/swage – 5
With the gauge issue and skinned bullets, I stopped after a few rounds. I ended up running the cases through my Redding resizing die as well as doing a quick chamfer and deburr on my Lyman prep center and then wet tumbled to remove the lube. Everything went great after that. Overall, given the price, I am good with that. I am still ahead of the game. I will likely purchase again.
I always find Blue Ridge Brass products that I buy, to be well worth what I pay for it. Their shipping is very reasonable too! I am pleased with Blue Ridge Brass.
They were great to reload an perfect for cleanliness, the one lil thing I notice was at the top of shell there is a burr on them where the machine sized them
Trim length and primer pockets reamed seems good. Had to redo the debur and chamfer. Probably due to tumbling after the process. Case mouths were blunted/ rounded, requiring deburring and chamfering on my end.
